Σύντομη Περιγραφή:
Despite of increasing youth participation
in cities, rural youth participation in various mobility and
educational programmes remains limited, not mentioning daily life
obstacles such as higher unemployment and more difficult access to all
the opportunities present in urban areas. Many rural youth needs more
skills and knowledge to start a project, enter a job market, develop
their personality or access information and learn about possibilities
they could benefit from.
The project “Youth Work for Development of Rural Areas” aims at
addressing these issues. Participants, by starting taking care about
their needs and discovering their skills, will step forward from a local
print of “no hopes” for rural areas, to a global dimension made by a
new awareness, motivations and ideas, leaving a concrete mark on the
participants’ perceptions and visions about rural areas.
Main objectives of this TC can be summarized as follow:
– To show how youth from disadvantaged areas can equally benefit from the opportunities provided by Erasmus+ programme
– Spread knowledge and share best practices to raise capacities of rural youth and communities
– Enhance youth workers’ skills to guide youngsters to build entrepreneurial skills and start new initiatives
– Improve youth workers’ leadership skills to motivate youngsters towards their selfdevelopment
– To foster exchange of best practices and future cooperation among organizations to develop new projects and initiatives

simulations, workshops, interactive discussions, theatre methods, intercultural moments), we aim to provide participants with the right tools to strengthen their learning process, creating an experiential and inclusive environment that will be completely focused on their needs. Everyone will be encouraged to share experiences and take initiatives and challenges, with the support of trainers and organizing team. Working language will be English.
